Cut the lines at many attractions. This alone is worth the price at the Museum of Science with it long wait during the summer
What is not so great?
If you are really going to be a tourist, you may consider a Go Boston Card that includes stuff like a Trolley Tour, Whale Watch, Duck Tour and many more things to do.

You need to go to at least 3 of the included attractions see any savings.

They may start to include some discounts at shops and restaurants. For the winter they are extending the time you can use it to a full year (but who is going to be a tourist for that long?)
